The snow never came & it’s a beautiful day – a bit cool, but lovely nonetheless.
Today I was off to a baby shower & church. I decided to try & find another outfit that I haven’t worn yet & this is what I came up with. It’s a bit dressy, although the denim skirt tones it down a bit. I love this skirt – it’s super comfortable & flattering. I love the pinstripes – gives it a nice little edge. The shirt I’ve been waiting to wear until it got warmer & the shoes are wonderful – surprisingly comfortable & I feel quite vixenish in them.
Believe it or not, I’m not wearing white tights! I have the whitest legs in the history of womankind. This used to bother me a lot & I got burnt more than I care to admit as a child & teenager. Now I pretty much stay out of the sun or use a lot of sunblock. If I do want a bit of colour in the summer, I use sunless tanning lotion, but never go very dark with it. All part of this journey to accepting myself.
