Challenge #3 San Francisco Chops (Slow Cooker)

This was cooking in the crock pot pretty much all day today & it smelled so good! I wasn’t sure I would make it until dinner time, but I survived. I actually used Country Style Pork Ribs instead of pork chops for this recipe because despite some foraging in the chest freezer, I couldn’t find my chops!

This recipe is super simple & I have to say, really good. I didn’t use garlic which many would probably consider a grave error, but we’re not huge fans of garlic, so I don’t usually have any around. I substituted agave syrup for the brown sugar. I also put the pork into the crock pot frozen as I forgot to take it out of the freezer last night. I just cooked in on high for a couple of hours before turning it down to low.

The flavor of this sauce is fantastic! So yummy. I’ll definitely be using this recipe again. The meat is so very tender & the sweetness is just right.
