Photo a Day – Days 46-52

Day 46 – Played Pinochle with Mom and Dad. In case you are wondering, this is not a good Pinochle hand. I didn’t have a good hand all night! We did have fun though.

Day 47 – We’ve begun some remodeling on our house which fills me with joy. It’s pretty much all original stuff from 1989. It’s a process, but I am thankful for the changes, including wood-look tile.

Day 49 – Tonight was the first night that I really, really, really did not want to go to the dojo for class. I was tired, I didn’t feel well, I was not having a good day. I went anyway, not because I’m a great person, but because I didn’t have a good excuse. It wasn’t an amazing time, but at the end of the class, I was thankful that I had gone. A long way to go, but taking it one step at at time.

Day 50 – The first graders at my boy’s school had a visitor who talked to them about airplanes and flying. They were able to examine his flying gear and then we got to play with his parachute outside when there was a break in the snow and wind. So much fun. I am thankful for people who volunteer their time and talents in our public schools.

Day 51 – We attended the Howk’s Annual Murder Mystery tonight. A beautiful evening with friends. Solving mysteries and trying to do a Swedish accent.
