This was last week’s challenge, but I really wanted to wait until this week to do it. We spent some time in Portland over Spring Break and did the 4T Trail. It was super fun and I knew it would be a great way to get some transportation shots. The 4T Trail involves a 4 mile Trail up the mountain/hill from Washington Park to OSHU via Council Crest Park. It was a great hike through some lovely forests.
When you reach OSHU, you go through the hospital to the Tram and ride it down. There are beautiful views from the top and on the way down.
At the base of the Tram, you hop on the Trolley (Street Car) and ride it to Downtown Portland.
We took the fourth T, the Train, both on the way to Washington Park and then on our way back to our original stop.
It was lovely day for it. No rain, sunshine on and off, crisp, Spring weather. It was a bit muddy in places, so good hiking shoes are recommended. I do highly recommend it as a Portland adventure though.
We saw so many more modes of transport along the way. Boats, jet skis, bikes (regular, tandem, quad), scooters, skateboards, roller blades, helicopters, airplanes, Segways, cars, and buses. It was a wonderful, family adventure.
